- £8,648 0.3 FTE (pro rata of £28,828 FTE)

Devon Communities Together is seeking two Rural Community Connectors to support and strengthen community engagement work across Devon. This role focuses on working directly with local people, community groups and partners to encourage engagement, reduce isolation, address health inequalities and support community-led planning and development.
You’ll help deliver locally focused projects, support community activity and connect people with opportunities, training and resources that make a real difference to everyday life in rural areas. Working closely with colleagues and partner organisations, you’ll play a key role in building resilient, inclusive and sustainable communities.

Rural Community Connector and Community Development Officer
- 0.8 FTE (29 hours a week) (1FTE = 36.25 hours a week) based in East Devon/Mid Devon
- £23,062 0.8 FTE (pro rata of £28,828 1FTE)
- 3 years Fixed Term (subject to review thereafter)
We are looking for a Rural Community Connector and Community Development Officer to support communities across East and Mid Devon through a blend of locally focused delivery and wider community development work. This role combines hands-on engagement with villages and community groups through the Vibrant Villages project, alongside broader work to strengthen community capacity, social enterprise and place-based development.
This is an opportunity to play a key part in shaping resilient rural communities while contributing to Devon Communities Together’s wider mission.
