Victoria Grimberg

Victoria was born in Falkenberg, Sweden and moved to Torquay, Devon in 2014. During her University years she studied History at Wolverhampton University via the Erasmus+ programme. She has a MA in Education and is a qualified History teacher who changed career and became a Project Development and Delivery Coordinator who has since completed her PRINCE2 Foundation qualification in project management. Progressing into Project Management within a different organisation has provided new insights, she is really loving the variety and the fast pace of projects. Victoria has a wealth of experience in bid writing and project management, both on a national and international level.

Culture, art and heritage are important to her and over the pandemic she participated in multiple local community projects including ‘Postcard from Chelston’ and ‘Celebrate Chelston’. Networking and fika are key concepts of hers, therefore she is a strong advocate for Fika. Fika is a Swedish custom where people gather to drink coffee, eat a sweet treat and chat - a tradition which she has been bringing to the United Kingdom via her employers and other platforms.

Victoria joined Devon Communities Together in December 2021 as one of the Project Managers.

I love Devon because…

I love Devon because I am an outdoor person and the Devonian nature is absolutely beautiful. Devon offers a stunning coastline with breath-taking scenery as well as Dartmoor with its wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys and Tors. I love to explore and capture the moment by being in the nature of Devon whilst appreciating its magnificent surroundings.
