Su spent her teenage years in Devon, before moving away to study 3-Dimensional Design. She ran her own business as a maker in metal, before moving into teaching adults and subsequently managing adult learning for Buckinghamshire County Council and Devon County Council.
She returned to Devon 19 years ago so her children could grow up in a rural community, where they had the freedom to explore the countryside. She enjoys supporting the creative sector and has been a trustee of Make Southwest, a director of Bovey Paradiso and curates the workshops for adults at the Contemporary Craft Festival. She has a passion for arts, education, wellbeing and community.
