Covid-19 Vaccination Programme - listening to experiences (with TPD VCSE Assembly)
Understanding views on the Covid-19 vaccination programme.
DCT supported the Torbay, Plymouth and Devon VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) Assembly on a new project to find out people's experiences of the Covid-19 vaccine and any barriers/challenges there might be to accessing it.
The TPD VCSE Assembly was awarded NHS funding for a short-term project to increase awareness of the Covid-19 vaccination programme and understand people's experiences of accessing the vaccine, including any barriers that might exist.
We reached out to as many people as possible to hear their stories, thoughts and experiences through focus groups and a survey, collating the independently gathered evidence and sharing it with the NHS to help inform future planning and engagement around the Covid-19 vaccination.
The TPD VCSE Assembly's combined reach into the VCSE sector - and all the different people and communities we support - was a fantastic asset in gathering rich, valuable data.
We are currently working on the final report and will be sharing our findings soon.
Devon Communities Together is supporting the Assembly with the delivery of this short-term project, which will conclude by the end of January 2024, with a report to follow by March 2024.
