Manaton Parish Hall

The Manaton Parish Hall can be hired at very reasonable rates and offers a wide range of facilities and activities that include:

a. Music or drama performances for which a fully demountable Q stage is available. The hall has a microphone system with amplifier and speakers.

b. A Roland EP880 electronic keyboard is also available for hire.

c. A full-size badminton court with net.

d. Two portable table tennis tables with bats and balls.

e. Space for exhibitions or conferences

f. Parties, discos or family gatherings that need a large space.

The cost of the hire includes tables and chairs. Smart electronic candles for a more subtle “at table” effect are also available.
The main hall has LED lighting throughout including spotlights and 2 air-source heating systems mounted in the ceiling. This is controlled via a touch-screen next to the main entrance.

The hall has a comprehensive insurance policy to cover most events held. However, the use of bouncy castles or other active sport other than badminton and table tennis will require further insurance cover by the hirer.

Monthly Market – A monthly market is held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month but see website for details. The market sells a wide range of produce from local farms and bakers including Pies, Pasties, Cakes, Bread, Jam, Chutney, Organic eggs, Fruit and Vegetables, Fairtrade produce Fresh Lamb, Pork and Beef from Manaton Farms, Cheese, Flowers, Plants, Jewellery and Neal’s Yard Remedies. Teas, Coffees and biscuits are available during the market at competitive prices.

£10 per hour for hall and kitchen hire and £5 per hour for committee room hire.
