This training is an in person, 3 hour session held at the Devon Communities Together offices – 1 Northleigh House, Thorverton Road, Exeter EX2 8HF. 

Please note that a minimum of 6 attendees are required in order for this training to go ahead.

  • Are you looking for practical guidance and resources to help ensure your building is run effectively, safely, and sustainably? 

 

What will the training include? 

This short course, delivered by one of the team at Devon Communities Together, will provide an overview of governance for community buildings and village halls, helping you understand the essential principles and requirements. We'll explore topics such as trustee roles and responsibilities, legal compliance, risk management, and effective decision-making. 

This is an interactive session with space for questions, discussion and exploration. It will also highlight useful resources and tools to support you in your role, while providing examples of best practices from other community spaces.
