Community groups are being invited to apply to North Devon Council to give their projects a funding boost for 2025/26.
The council's Community Councillor Grants scheme is now open for applications. The scheme allocates each North Devon councillor £1,000 to award to projects or groups within the district throughout the year.
The grants offer support to charities, voluntary and community groups and not-for-profit organisations towards projects that directly help local people, the local environment and the local community.
Sports clubs, museums, village halls, youth clubs, toddler groups and environmental groups have all benefited from grants in the past. Grants can be used to help with equipment costs, activities or day-to-day running and operation costs.
Chief Executive of North Devon Council, Ken Miles, said: "We are always looking to support our local clubs, communities and organisations who work so hard to make a difference for the people of North Devon, whether they are well-established or just starting up.
"If you are part of a community group which you think could benefit from our Community Councillor Grants, please visit our website where there is plenty of information about the scheme, as well as a link to apply. Applications are considered on a first-come first-served basis, so please don't delay in getting your submissions in."
