Take a look at the latest news from our partners at the Naturally Healthy Forum:
Naturally Healthy month is back and this year the campaign will be running throughout October.
Now more than ever we recognise the importance of being active in our green and blue outdoor spaces and connecting to nature.
Naturally Healthy October is all about getting outside and enjoying Devon's amazing natural environment and feeling happier and healthier for it. Activities could include walking, cycling, canoeing, wild swimming or bird watching. There is something for everyone!
During October Active Devon and Devon County Council on behalf of the Devon Local Nature Partnership (DLNP) will be sharing lots on being Naturally Healthy. Keep an eye on social media @activedevon and @Devon_LNP.
We are also running a Naturally Healthy photo competition which is open to people of all ages residing in Devon. The competition offers the opportunity to explore your local natural environment, take some amazing photographs and submit them for a chance to win great prizes. To find out more, including how to enter please visit either the Active Devon or Natural Devon websites, both links are below.
Please ensure you follow current government guidance when being active outside and access open spaces safely.
Devon’s Naturally Healthy initiative is led by the Devon Local Nature Partnership. It brings together a wide range of partners from health, wellbeing, community and environment sectors to ensure that everyone in Devon is happier and healthier through increased connection to nature.
