Chardstock Community Hall

Chardstock Community Hall is a well equipped and versatile venue located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the Blackdown Hills in Devon.
It is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, private hire for parties, clubs & societies and a stage for live bands and drama productions.
A sound system and a hearing aid loop system have recently been installed. The hall has a sprung floor, making it excellent for dancing.
The hall has a full alcohol licence but the bar is only available when run by trustees. Otherwise a TENS licence is necessary
The generous main hall, which measures14.5m x 10.9m, can accommodate up to 200 people seated theatre style or approximately 150 if seated at tables. There is a large stage for performances.
The separate function room seats approximately 30 at tables, or 50 standing.
There is a fully equipped kitchen for preparing light meals or for use as a servery to the main hall or function room.
Outside is a well appointed car park for approximately 60 cars, adjacent is a children's play area.

Hall £15.00 per hour, Committee Room £7.00 per hour .For Saturday evenings there is a set charge of £120.00 from 18.00hr to 23.45hr.
There is a set fee for weddings of £500.00 which allows for the use of the hall, kitchen and committee room from 12.00 noon on the day prior to the event to 12.00 noon on the day following the event.
The kitchen has a modern cooker with a double oven and induction hob. There are 2 refrigerators and a dishwasher. Pans for use on the hob are provided. There is an additional hourly charge of £5.00 for the use of the cooker, but crockery and cutlery are included in the hire charge.
Private functions are charged at the hourly rate but if booking as a wedding venue please make enquiries with regard to costs and conditions of hire.
A completed booking form, together with payment, is required at the time of making the booking.
