Do you find it hard to recruit volunteers? Expand your skills in recruitment, induction and training for volunteers at your organisation.

 

Participants will leave this workshop with more confidence about how to recruit, different volunteer role descriptions, and tools for all aspects of volunteer management, including motivation & wellbeing, organising, workloads & supervision and support.

This session will be led by guest speaker Su Kaye, who has a wealth of experience in community development and volunteer management.

Refreshments provided and opportunity to network and connect with other organisations.

 

What will the training include?

Discover different ways to recruit volunteers for your voluntary organisation, community group or social enterprise.

Explore recruitment initiatives e.g. online platforms, local advertising and community events and what makes a good role description.

Access templates and information about induction and training processes.

How to manage your volunteers and how to better ensure they are motivated, supported and their wellbeing is improved.

How to organise and supervise volunteers and their workload.
