This 1 Hour online workshop is for community groups and social enterprises in North Devon, Torridge and West Devon ONLY.

Participating in this course allows you to develop a better understanding of funding opportunities, the process of applying and how to increase your chances of being successful. 

COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

At the Masterclass we will:

• Explore current national and local funding opportunities for community projects and social enterprises – for groups in North Devon, Torridge and West Devon ONLY

• Hear from funders, including National Lottery Community Fund, about their grant funds and how to access them

• Create a Top Tips list of DOs and DON’Ts when applying for funds

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR

Hannah has lived in Devon most of her life, apart from 3 years in London as National Director of Learning for the School for Social Entrepreneurs, where she set up the learning programme and regional Schools around the UK. She has worked for Devon County Council, supporting youth work and adult learning and for the National Lottery as a grants assessor. Hannah's long experience of working with rural communities as a consultant in social enterprise and voluntary sector development was then used in East Devon, managing projects involving youth, older people, carers and asset-based community development. Hannah is currently Enterprise Coach and Business Mentor for Devon Communities Together project ‘New Start Devon Enterprise Coaching’.

Devon Social Entrepreneurs Programme is led by the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) in partnership with Devon Communities Together, Stir to Action and New Prosperity Devon.  It is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fundwhich is managed by Devon County Council within the Devon area.
