You know how much £100 is worth, but do you know how much living near a green space is worth? How about the value volunteering brings to society?

No matter what your organisation or project does, calculating your social value can help you allocate your resources in the most impactful way, and help you communicate the impact of your work to funders, beneficiaries, and the public.

What will the training include?

You will learn what social value is and gain and understanding of the measures and tools used to calculate it, as well as  the benefits that social value brings to organisations.

You will also learn the steps needed to begin measuring the social value of your own organisation or project. This can take the form of investing in a tool to help you capture the value of dozens of projects or identifying just a few key outcomes that you would like to be able to measure.

 Who is this session for?

Anyone working or volunteering in the charity/VCSE sector with a role or interest in impact measurement. This is an interactive session, delivered by one of the team at Devon Communities Together, with space for questions, discussion and exploration.
