Over the summer and autumn of 2017, Devon Communities Together (DCT) has been working with Exeter Diocese’s Growing the Rural Church Project and the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of Beaford to gather the views of the local community about what would make Beaford a thriving and sustainable place to live.
A short survey was developed to engage local residents and start a conversation about their future aspirations for the community. Together we visited a Messy Church, community coffee morning and the Autumn Show to listen to people’s opinions.
The comments have now been collected together and a summary report presented to the PCC for them to consider what their next steps will be.
