Do you know of a group or an individual who has made a difference to your community in Devon? Now’s your chance to show your appreciation for them through BBC Local Radio’s Make A Difference Awards!
BBC Local Radio has just opened nominations for their annual Make A Difference Awards. The aim of this awards event is to show recognition to individuals and groups who have made positive contributions to their local communities. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone in Devon who would like to nominate a particular individual or group, whether you feel they have made a difference across your whole community or have shown a single act of kindness that has moved you.
There are 8 award categories this year, including the recent addition of The Animal Award, where you can either nominate an animal who has improved the life of an individual or group, or a person or group that has improved animal welfare.
The awards close on Sunday 10 March 2024 at 11pm. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category through BBC Radio Devon for our district.
