Description

The Community Centre and Art Block were originally built in 1876 as the original Alphington School until the school moved to its current site in 1987. It has a large playground and access to Grimes Field behind it.

We have 2 halls, a meeting room and kitchen in the main building and across the large playground is an art block with double art studio, pottery (with 6 wheels) and a kiln.

Apart from the convenience of free Wi-fi, we have a projector and screen available to hire at all our venues.

Many activities have regular bookings in this space but it is available for parties and occasional bookings particularly at the weekends.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here.
