Improving public transport access for people with disabilities
Travelling with Confidence was a Devon-wide project being co-delivered by Devon Communities Together and Disability Together.
It included:
- Free training for people with disabilities to gain confidence using public transport
- Delivering disability awareness training to local partner organisations and travel providers
- Raising awareness of the barriers faced by people with disabilities in order to create change.
The Travelling with Confidence project aimed to support people living in Devon and is funded by the Motability Foundation.
