Alphington Village Hall

Our Village Hall, originally an 1830s building, is in the centre of the village, and was refurbished in 2017. The Hall has been decorated to a high specification and has superb new toilets and an excellent kitchen, with a seating capacity for 100 people. The Hall can be extending into the large foyer area. It is accessible for all; a bus-stop for “A” bus is just outside the entrance and our parking facility (more availability in the evening and weekends) is shared with the local Surgery.

In addition is the Alphington Community Theatre, which was rebuilt in 2020 and is now part of the Alphington Village Hall complex. This seats 80 and has underfloor heating which is very poplar with our Yoga and Pilates classes. The Theatre has blackout blinds and is perfect for a neon party to disco.

Apart from the convenience of fast Wifi, we have a projector and screen available for use.

Many activities have regular bookings in this space but it is available for parties and occasional bookings particularly Friday and Saturday nights.

Hall availability is always open to negotiation. Please do not assume this hall cannot be used on days where activities are indicated here.

£25.00 per hour one off bookings such as parties. For regular bookings £15.50 per hour.
