This is an attractive and well used community facility.
The Hall is used for shows, quizzes, talks, club meetings, etc. and also hired privately for parties, receptions and other gatherings. It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen catering for up to 100 people, and a stage with dedicated lighting, suitable for shows. The maximum capacity of the Hall is 200 persons, or 120 for a seated audience.
Car parking on the forecourt is very limited, but some additional parking is available on School Hill.
The Hall is operated as a charitable trust, managed by Officers and a committee that is made up from representatives of village organisations.

The Premises Licence allows for singing, dancing, music and performances of plays between the following hours:
Monday – Friday 08.00 to midnight
Saturday 08.00 to 11.45pm
Sunday 08.00 to 10.30pm
The licence does not allow for the routine sale of alcohol; however, applications for one of the 12 permitted Temporary Event Notices can be made through prior consultation with the Booking Secretary/Chairman.
