Thorverton Memorial Hall

Thorverton is a picturesque village situated in the Exe Valley, roughly halfway between Exeter and Tiverton, and is very easy to access by road from Exeter, Tiverton and Crediton. It is located on the left-hand side of the road leading into the village from the Exeter-Tiverton road. There is a large grassed amenity area beside the hall and a surfaced car park for 34 cars.
Thanks to thre generous grants from Viridor Credits, the spacious hall has been extensively renovated, offering a smart, bright, light venue providing excellent facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, refurbished toilets and bar together with a curtained stage, projector and screen. This makes it an ideal venue for many local organisations as well as weddings, parties, dances etc.
On the second Saturday of each month the hall holds its Saturday Market which accommodates a large variety of stalls selling vegetables, meat, various crafts, books, etc as well as the renowned ‘Big Breakfast’ – an ideal way to start your weekend.
