Description

The Reading Room has been at the heart of Kingston village life for over 100 years. As our village hall, it plays a key role in keeping our community active and socially engaged. It is a place where local residents and visitors can get together to enjoy a varied calendar of organised events or book their own private functions.

The Main Hall with seating for about 80 (or 50 at tables) and a smaller Committee Room are available for hire to local community groups and to other approved hirers on application to the bookings secretary for full terms of hire

The Reading Room and hirers are insured including public liability cover for most non-commercial activities. PRS and PPL licences are held for live and recorded music and a PA system is included in the hire if required. Licence to sell Alcohol on the premises.

The hire charge also includes heating if required, electricity and the use of tables, chairs, kitchen facilities (cooker, microwave, crockery, cutlery etc.)

• Village Pantomime

In the Parish of Kingston Main Hall £8 per hour Meeting Room £6 per hour
Subsidised organisations Main Hall £10 per session Meeting Room £5 per session
