Anna Squire

Anna has lived in Devon all her life and can’t imagine being anywhere else. Growing up in North Devon before heading to East Devon to study Outdoor Leisure at Bicton College, she has always loved the outdoors and being on the move — from surfing the beaches while growing up, to climbing the tors on Dartmoor and paddleboarding along the coast whenever there is an opportunity.

After two years travelling and working around Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, Anna settled back in Devon and has been working in the charitable sector since 2005. Much of her work has been within counselling and drug and alcohol services helping people across the community. She loves working with people, offering understanding, guidance and practical support to help improve lives and strengthen communities.

I love Devon because...

...Devon is home. Our springer spaniel is a huge part of our lives, and we spend much of our time exploring our woodland, moorland and beautiful beaches. We feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful place.
