Alwington Village Hall

Alwington Village Hall was first built in 1933 with a later extension added to provide better toilet facilities and a Committee Room. A few years ago the kitchen was fitted out with a new cooker and fridge making it more flexible. In 2016 the toilets were upgraded further and a proper disabled toilet facility and baby change unit were incorporated. This was followed by re-decoration of the entrance hall and Committee room which now also has new furniture.

Just before Christmas 2016 we were presented with a defibrillator by a regular group of Ballroom dancers.

The hall is well used with regular Yoga classes, band and choir practices, dance groups and short matt bowls. There is also a skittle alley which is well used by both men and ladies teams.

There are two rooms, The main Hall and smaller Committee Room.
