Bitesize sessions include a short talk by guest speakers, on a range of topics as well providing a chance for VCSE groups across East Devon to come together and share challenges, solutions and support each other.
Please note: this ONILNE session is FREE to any voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation operating in East Devon. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
- Could a professional looking poster or e-flyer make a difference to your organisation?
- What if you have no budget to pay a designer?
- Do you lack confidence in creating your own promotional materials?
You will leave this bitesized session feeling inspired and able to go away and create eye catching posters to help promote your organisation! No design experience necessary!
What will the training include?
In this session, guest speaker Chris Hunt-Watts will teach you the basics of how to create professional looking posters or booklets to promote your business with the free and easy to use software, Canva. This is a simple but powerful software that doesn’t require any downloading or installing and it perfect for almost any level of digital skill.
No design experience is required although digital skills equivalent to using emails will mean you get the most out of the session.
This session will be recorded and those signing up through Eventbrite will receive a recording of the sessions shortly after the date.
*Please note that this training is in no way endorsed by Canva.
The session will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions and network.
If you would like a certain question or theme to be raised, please state this when signing up via Eventbrite when prompted.
Depending on the amount of requests, we will choose a selection to focus on.
We are running these sessions to provide space for the sector to share its collective expertise, to network and for participants to return to their organisation with something helpful.
