I have joined Devon Communities Together as a Community Development Officer, supporting communities to build resilience, strengthen partnerships and develop locally led solutions.
My background is in social enterprise, creative learning and socially engaged practice. I co-founded Fotonow CIC and have since helped establish a number of community-focused organisations and collaborations across Devon and the South West. I am also a Director at the Plymouth Social Enterprise Network, and a committee member of Mixed Families Together, supporting inclusive community initiatives.
I bring experience in community engagement, partnership development and co-design, working across sectors including arts, education and cultural heritage. My work often uses creative approaches to engage people and ensure underrepresented voices are heard.
Alongside my community work, I have held lecturing roles at Arts University Plymouth, Falmouth University and UWE Bristol, supporting students in photography, creative practice and social action.
I am passionate about working collaboratively with communities to create meaningful, sustainable change.
I love Devon because...
...it offers so many ways to connect with nature - from swimming in rivers and the sea to exploring new places and enjoying its rich birdlife.
