Join us for the Autumn DCRF Forum – a free, drop-in event focused on strengthening community resilience.
Our Resilience Forum events are free and open to anyone with an interest in emergency planning, response and recovery, including town and parish councils, voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and local community groups.
We are delighted to welcome British Red Cross who will run an interactive, practical workshop designed to help communities strengthen their emergency preparedness through structured mapping and skills auditing activities.
The workshop aims to help you:
- Understand and define your community in an emergency planning context
- Identify and map local strengths, assets, and risks
- Assess existing skills and capabilities
- Highlight gaps and develop initial actions to improve resilience
There will also be a number of exhibitors including equipment suppliers, emergency services and voluntary organisations.
The event is FREE, with a light lunch provided and refreshments available during the day.
Advance registration is encouraged so we can plan numbers.
Registration is from 9.30am and the event starts at 10am.
