Peter Harding

Peter takes lead responsibility for all financial and HR aspects of Devon Communities Together, working on a part-time basis. He previously held the position of Assistant Chief Executive at DCT, with responsibilities including strategic engagement, business development and programme management. Prior to this, Peter undertook the roles of Community Services Manager and Community Buildings Officer for DCT, as well as completing a short period as Acting Chief Executive. Before DCT, Peter worked as a Grants Officer for the Big Lottery, which included assessing and managing a caseload of grants, and establishing a pilot small grants programme, which became Awards for All. In a voluntary capacity, Peter has variously held the positions of Chair, Treasurer, committee member and volunteer for local charities, including 12 years on the Board of Magic Carpet, a community arts organisation. He has also served as a school governor for Ladysmith Infants School.

I love Devon because…

I was born and have spent most of my life in Devon, and when I'm not taking my kids to football tournaments, my passion is biking and hiking in the fabulous Devon countryside.
