Martin has significant experience of managing community development projects. At Devon Communities Together he has particularly been involved with:
Neighbourhood Planning; supporting communities understand the legal process, project management, funding application support, creative community engagement ideas, identifying aims and objectives and translating these into formal planning policies. He has also helped communities formalise the final document ready for submission and undertake the Regulation 14 consultation.
Theory of Change and Impact Measurement frameworks; enabling projects and services identify appropriate measures and gather powerful case studies to highlight the impact they are making. It is increasingly important for organisations to illustrate their impact and show to funders and stakeholders the difference they are making.
Open Data; supporting a range of community projects make the most of data that is freely available for everyone to use and republish as they wish. Local Authorities and organisation are increasingly opening up their data for wider use. Evaluating this information and combing it with other open or internal data can provide organisations with beneficial insights to support their communities and projects in decision making and funding bids.
I love Devon because…
