David is a qualified accountant and joined DCT as Finance Manager in August 2019. Following qualification with Saffery Champness in London, he moved back to Devon in 1995, continuing to work in Practice before moving to an accounting role in investment administration with Sinclair Henderson, providing reporting for a portfolio of trust companies, where he spent 9 years. He then progressed to more commercial finance roles in a variety of sectors, primarily spending 8 years as Finance Manager for Maximus UK, a leading provider of welfare-to-work services to government. He is looking forward to using his experience and skills in supporting DCT through the next stage of its development.
David is responsible for the day to day accounting for DCT and its subsidiary companies, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for to the various projects and funds. He is also responsible monthly and quarterly financial reporting to the Directors and Trustees and for the production of the charity’s annual accounts to present for audit.
