course description

Many people could get this if only they claimed and many miss out when they do claim. With around 80% of appeals being successful when supported by advisers, it must be worth coming and finding out how to make sure that the people with disabilities you support don’t miss out.

This course is for organisations who signpost, provide information, support or advise people with health conditions or disabilities. Personal Independence Payment (PIP), the replacement for Disability Living Allowance for people aged 16 and over, represents a reduction in financial support available to people with disabilities and many people need support to make claims and challenge decisions.

It covers:

  • Basic conditions of entitlement
  • Claims and assessment process
  • How to challenge decisions
