course description

It’s now only children from 0-15 who can now claim Disability Living Allowance (DLA). It can be difficult to know when children might be entitled. How do they assess ‘disability’? The form is probably the most difficult of all benefits forms to complete. This course can help you to help parents and carers to identify whether their children might be entitled and to help them fill in the forms.

This course is designed to provide participants with information on the basic conditions of entitlement to Disability Living Allowance (DLA), to enable advisers to identify entitlement and assist with claims and with challenging decisions.
