This training is a 3 hour training session held via Zoom. 

Please note that a minimum of 6 attendees are required in order for this training to go ahead. 

  • Do you want to learn about why community-led change is important to consider in your work and projects? 
  • Would you like to know more about approaches on how to engage and work collaboratively with communities? 
  • Are you starting a community-based project but want to know how to work collaboratively with communities, so they steer change and development?  
What will the training include? 

Join this training session if you are keen to learn more about engaging and learning from communities collaboratively.  

Methods and approaches such as Design Led Thinking, Co-production and Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) will be covered, as well as benefits and practical considerations when designing projects. This session will be interactive and involve space for questions and exploration regarding your projects and ideas in relation to community-led change.  

Participants will leave this session with a greater understanding about why community-led change is important, and the benefits of working in this way. They will also learn key community-led research and engagement approaches, and what to consider when planning a project that involves community involvement.
